Somewhere 5141 km above the Atlantic Ocean with another 5 hours and 53 minutes to go, it became clear to me that my moments of inspiration always come a few miles above the ground.

I was born in 1992 in the  city of Rotterdam. Both my parents were born, and raised in Cape Verde. They moved to the Netherlands to build a better life. In 2012 I did an internship in Cape Verde for my study in tourism, I got to know my motherland in a different way.
